CONE 

 

Cone shaped probes offer a cost effective solution ideally suited to the long lifetime imaging of low relief samples. These probes offer the lifetime and nanomechanical advantages of diamond at higher resolution and without the variability in tip shape associated with competing diamond coated products. Boron doped diamond makes these probes conductive.

  • Highly doped with boron with a macroscopic resistivity of 0.003 - 0.005 Ω∙cm

  • Typical contact resistance of 100 kΩ depending on contact radius (measured on a silver surface)

  • Gold reflex coating on the detector side of the cantilever to enhance reflectivity
